This news headline makes me think of this lost track...

I was looking for something, anything at all
something to believe in, written on the bathroom wall
There were no answers to the questions I employed
Nothing around me to fill up that void

I've been lost and I've been found
I've been lost, been pushed around
What a cost, well I nearly drowned
I've been lost, but I've been found

My broken home, yeah, my broken heart
I needed to make myself a brand new start
When you're feeling lonely in a crowded town
When your world around you comes crashing down

I've been lost and I've been found.........

    Poor Jeffrey Allen Ingram

Hahahahah. That gave me a good laugh. Another interesting part of this song, is Mike's appreciation for reusing lyrics in a slightly different way. Diamond in the Rough: "I was looking for something, anything at all, something to believe in, spray painted on the bathroom wall"

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Lost and Found was just a demo. It got turned into Diamond in the Rough. Personally, I think Lost and Found is a much better song.

I agree there. It was a bit more original. What I like of Diamond is mostly found from it's similarites to Lost and Found.

does anyone think that Diamond in the Rough sounds like adam sandler's chanukah song? i played it at work over the summer, and one of my co-workers said, "sounds a lot like the chanukah song." ever since then, i find myself hearing it when i hear diamond in the rough.

i agree that lost and found is a better song. sounds a little darker, but the "oohs" towards the end kind of provide a calming sense to it, giving the effect that "everything is ok."
